Appliance/Mattress Delivery & Installation Professional - Appliance Avenue

The primary functions of this position are to establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner. This person must also check invoices to ensure that the appliances or bedding that was ordered were correctly pulled for delivery to the customer. The delivery driver must account for cash on COD (Cash on Delivery) orders.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Appliances and Beds
• Maintain customer satisfaction
• Maintain professional attitude, conduct and appearance
• Maintain store delivery truck
• Provide support to other departments as needed
• Participate in training
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by management
• Assist in unloading of trucks
• Assist in keeping the warehouse organized
• Assist in displaying appliances & mattresses for showroom display

Requirements:

• Capable of lifting and moving Appliances and Mattress’s
• Heavy equipment moving using moving aids designed to move large items, including hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc
• Must be able to retain a valid Driver’s license
