Housekeeping Manager

Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, by managing a team of housekeepers, assigning cleaning tasks, maintaining inventory of supplies, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and upholding quality control through regular inspections; essentially, they lead the entire housekeeping department to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the premises.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Training, and supervising housekeeping staff, assigning cleaning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with established standards.
• Maintaining adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering new supplies as needed. Monitoring housekeeping expenses and identifying areas for cost reduction.
• Creating efficient cleaning schedules to optimize staff productivity.
• Ensure staff adheres to all safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Addressing guest complaints related to cleanliness and taking necessary corrective actions.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including complete weekend and holiday availability
