DELIVERY DRIVER/HELPER

The driver is responsible for loading and unloading trucks. The truck driver must follow the directions of the supervisor. The driver is responsible for compliance with Department of Transportation safety rules and regulations, all company policies, local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

•  Deliver product
•  Responsible for unloading the feed/truck load at the correct destination and correct bins/warehouse
•  Responsible for completion of the required paper work
•  Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor
•  Perform other duties as assigned
• General mill and grain handling tasks
• Perform and maintain routine warehouse housekeeping to achieve FSMA and OSHA compliance at all times
• Manufacture feed in accordance with quality assurance policies, standard operating procedures and Current Good Manufacturing Practices
• Perform preventive maintenance (and repairs as needed) on equipment

 Qualifications and Skills

•  Class A - CDL
•  A valid DOT Federal medical card
•  Ability to lift 60 pounds
•  Climb ladders in excess of 50 feet
•  Operate a pallet jack with 2,000 pounds of material

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be subjected to electrical hazards, fire hazards and unsafe conditions and may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, work safely with hazardous chemicals and materials, inside confined spaces, with intense outside weather including heat, extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment varies from moderate to extreme, and the employee must have the ability to responsibly implement safeguards, interpret policies and utilize specific protective equipment.

Other Requirements

The employee must maintain ability to comply with drug free workplace requirements, including being subject to new hire, random, for cause, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
