As we are preparing to reopen in Spring 2025, we're building a team of people who share our passion for coffee, community, and delivering memorable customer experiences.

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our wonderful team at Leroy’s. As a barista at Leroy's, you'll be part of Leroy’s story, crafting delicious drinks and fostering a welcoming environment. Your role will be essential to ensure every guest leaves with a smile and a great brewed beverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages, a variety of espresso-based drinks, coffee, teas, and other specialty beverages.
• Customer service is of top importance, providing friendly, personalized service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
• Keeping the workspace, equipment, and seating area clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Accurately handle transactions, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments, while ensuring proper register balance.
• Assist in tracking and restocking inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies.
• Work cohesively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service to ensure the culture of Leroy’s is always at it’s best.
• Engage with customers and contribute to Leroy's reputation as a friendly, community-centered establishment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista or in a customer service role.
• Passion for coffee and providing top notch customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on creating positive customer experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during the coffee shop's operating season (May–October).
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
